1. Can I still take a lesson if I can't swim?
Absolutely! You're more than welcome to join our lessons even if you're not a swimmer. During the lesson, we'll be positioned in water that's waist-high, allowing you to stand comfortably and catch waves with ease.
2. What should I bring to my surf lesson?
All you need to bring is your swimwear ("togs").
Don't worry about the rest – we've got you covered!
We provide surfboards, wetsuits, surf ponchos (even sunblock!) as part of your lesson. These are all included in the price you've paid.
3. Do you offer one-on-one kids lessons?
Absolutely! We offer one-on-one lessons for kids too!
4. How do package lessons work?
When you complete your purchase, we'll send you an email with a unique promo code. This code is valid for the remaining four lessons of your chosen package.
To redeem, simply enter the code in the designated promo code section when you make your next booking.
You can conveniently log in to our website to keep track of your lessons.
5. When does your season start/end?
Our typical season starts around mid October and finishes around May. However, please note that this timeline can vary based on the year's weather and water temperature. We usually make an announcement about a month before the season comes to a close.
6. What happens to my lesson if the weather is unfavourable?
We rarely cancel lessons, unless there are severe winds, strong rips, or unsafe conditions on the day. Safety is our priority. If there's a significant swell hitting the beach, we might also opt to cancel.
Your safety and the best possible learning experience are what guide our decisions regarding lesson cancellations.
